the world
of VINTAGE AUDIO

The idea is to share the legacy with the world. Think of this site as a watering hole for fellow travelers. On our project's pages you will be able to read about and hear music as it sounded at different chapters in the biography of sound, discover the best models of vinyl and CD players, transistor and lamp amplifiers, acoustic systems and more. In this digital age all lovers of analog sound, inimitably warm and subtle, can meet around the campfire, start up the old favorites and be inspired. Remember how the lamps glowed and what incredible tone color music once had? Whether you want to recall it or find out what makes old sound devices so great, we have the best lamp equipment right here.

OUR MISSION

Vintage Audio is an online resource for 20th-century music, history of the music technology and the music industry.

The project has access to one of the world's best private collections of vintage audio, video and radio devices made between 1920 and 2000. It contains several thousand exceptional and rare pieces, over ten thousand vinyl records, quadraphonic discs, master tapes and video vinyl records. Also for your perusal is the largest selection of tape decks on the planet - with mass-market, studio, professional, lamp and transistor models.

The project's founder, Mr. Ferenchuk, is a successful businessman and investor who prefers to keep his identity private. The collection is located in several countries. Our labs, specialists and partners can be found in the United States, Great Britain, Germany, Russia and Japan.

Our mission is to bring together all interested techies, audio enthusiasts and private collectors of vintage devices and retro sound.

Our goal is to open several museum centers in different countries to bring to the community this magnificent heritage of musical technique from different eras. We invite all interested parties to the dialogue.
